I have breast cancer. I am in good hands. There is a long road ahead and it leads to happiness and a cancer-free, long, healthy life.

After learning that two of her friends, who were young enough not to be getting regular mamagrams, had been diagnosed with breast cancer, Xeni Jardin, one of the founding voices of BoingBoing.net and a TV/Radio/Video producer, decided to get one too. She was nervous about it and live-tweeted the experience yesterday.
