Day 19: Week’s End Face
Day 18: Teacher And Me
Zak and his teacher this morning.
Day 17: It’s A Big World
Some days you can’t quite find a comfortable place in it.
Day 16: New Kicks
We got the kids new shoes last night, and I was hoping that the novelty would give the boy an extra dose of courage when it came time for me to let go of his hand this morning. Didn’t quite get there and some tears were shed, but I know he’ll have a good day and may even learn to tie his new shoes.
Day 15: Another Monday
Back to work!
Day 14: Hold On
Day 13: Oh Boy
Great start to a great day for the boy.
Day 12: Talisman
Zak brought a book to school that he was reading last night so he could show the teacher. The thought of doing this propelled him, albeit a bit reluctantly, through the classroom door this morning.
The sticker on the middle finger is just his subtle stab at “the man”.
Day 11: You Gotta Go Back
Even after a long weekend, as I told Zak *repeatedly* Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. He was ready, but not happy, today.
