Black hairband, white shirt, black skirt, white shoes. She was tickled by the pattern she made with her outfit. All those years of Sesame Street paying off.

She was upset this morning after I hurt her head trying to brush her hair out. Then she didn’t want to move, so I had to carry her and hurt her hand too. I dropped her off and she was in a funk. I started to leave, but then went back and sat on the floor of the cafeteria with her class and held her until her teacher came. We both felt better by then.
